RCI Shuttles from pier to Palma?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone confirm if RCI is currently running shuttle buses from the pier into the city of Palma with proximity to Merkat de Olivar & the old town?

If so, do you recall cost & frequency or did you take a taxi & what was approximate cost & length of time into town?

FYI - we’ll be the Oasis of the Seas arriving June 17 in Mallorca & doing a DIY excursion of Palma & looking for best transportation into town & back.

TIA

>> Taxi in Palma

https://www.mobipalma.mobi/es/mobilitat/transport/taxi/usuaris-taxi/tarifes-taxi/#1463998015482-b9e0ccf5-ace4

Minimum fare: 2,65 euro

Per distance: add 0,98 euro/km

Port supplements 4,65 euro

Calculate distance from the pier (be awared you can be in two different piers with more than 1 km of distance) to the point of the centre you want.... and you can calculate

>> Bus

Line number 2 runs every 15 minutes from the pier to the centre

3 euro/person

Public buses run from the main road outside the port and are easy to use. Once you find the line numbers you can check their routes to see which pass close to where you want to go.

If you cross the main road via the overpass  and walk about 200 mts to the avenue deJuan Miro you will able to catch the number 4 bus that takes you the Plaza Espana This is a short walk to the Mercat Olivar .
