Alaska Airlines Stopover

I can't seem to find if you can book a flight from Anchorage to Detroit with a stopover in Seattle. I can find information if you are using rewards but not if you are paying cash. Seems to be some crazy stopovers and with the time change, it would be a long day. Wondered if anyone has broken the journey up. Maybe just one night.

Seattle is their biggest hub-- you can schedule most any flight with Alaska with a connection or overnight at SeaTac.

  Make sure in your search you dont have a "use points" feature turned on.  I was able to go to the Alaska web site, inserted a random day, ticked one way and found all the options

 

it is easy to get a local hotel at airport and use their shuttle .  You may or may not have to double check bags with that long a layover

• try searching Multi-city.  Anchorage -Seattle ( maybe spend a night) then Seattle to Detroit
