Drink Package on Vista for July cruise - bars too busy?

I think it is a given that people who drink free (drink packages of any kind) consume more than those who pay by the drink. The more drink packages, the more competition for limited resources. There might not be a line at all.

Some people might, sure, but I recall the days before drink packages and saw just as much drinking going on, so I don't think the numbers are all that significant. Still, I hardly care how someone is getting their drink and if they happened to score a free package then good on them.

Before that, I was carrying on half gallons of liquor. Carnival didn't care. Free cabins, free liquor, free highest tier status. Some people do care.

How many are on each cruise varies. I think there are more and more casino events and so more casino cruises.

It varies, just like any restaurant or bar on land. I was on the Vista recently at full capacity and sat alone in the sports bar for over an hour with just me and the bartender. Another day, I attempted to go in but couldn't because it was full.
