Documents question

I was reading NCL's website, and they indicate that you need proof of citizenship, and proof of identity. I have a passport, but not a photo drivers license. Does the passport serve both purposes, or do I need to go to the DMV and get a photo DL?? I will call NCL if I have to, but I would rather hear the answer from those who have traveled already.

Thanks for your help.

A passport provides both proof of citizenship and proof of identity.

A birth certificate only provides proof of citizenship.

A driver license with a photo only provides proof of identity.

If you're taking your passport, that's all you need.
