Rare babyclaytonmom Posted July 31 #1 Share Posted July 31 Has anyone done the trail to the White Cliffs in Dover? Looks to be under 3 miles but how strenuous was it really? Says some hills. Wondered how long it takes most people to do. I think we will be "castled out" and would rather do this trail than go to Dover Castle. Thanks! firstjourney Posted August 1 #2 Share Posted August 1 Following. I plan on hiking this a week from today and plan on spending most of the day exploring the cliffs.
Rare Harters Posted August 1 #3 Share Posted August 1 The walk is rated as "moderate" . According to the NT website, the path is surfaced and only has one steep section. Bear in mind that you do need to take some care as the path runs along the cliff edge
AllenF Posted August 1 #4 Share Posted August 1 We walked this trail back in 2018 on a private tour it is a very easy walk if you have no issues walking. There was 1 person in our group who had issues and had to stop at the golf course and had to be picked up. I highly recommend walking it.

Rare John Bull Posted August 4 #7 Share Posted August 4 If you start from sea-level (behind the ferry-port) there's a very steep climb at the start. If you start at the carpark at the top then it's a bit up-and-down but nothing major. JB 🙂
