Passport for NE/Canada Cruise??

I don't think you need a passport at this time, but others might know more than I. However, when I was doing a back-to-back (Boston, Montreal, Boston), I went for a walk in Montreal and a local guard at the dock insisted on seeing a passport. In my opinion, and from my experience, the officials in Montreal can be real stinkers when they want to. Also, in the opinion of many people, a passport is always the best way to travel and it will soon be required for all trips, so my advice is to get one; it's good for ten years and you will never look younger than you do now. ;)
