Headed Back Again

Just booked air and hotel to return to Merida again. Two port calls and now a third land trip. It's a great area.

Zeno. You got it! Definitely driving down to Ticul one day. A great small town which is very close to Uxmal. And stopping in Santa Elana to say hi to the folks that run the B&B we stayed at in Oct.

You will love it. I own an old colonial house in Centro in Merida (See http://www.drennon.org/merida ) and a beach house just east of Progreso (See http://www.drennon.org/yucatan/pictures.html ). We love the area! Merida is a magical city.

I really wish I was heading back again soon! I have to wait until April 2007, but I all ready have my shopping list of things I did not buy in Progreso that I am kicking myself for not getting. Looking forward to seeing Armando on the beach again too, hopefully he will still be working.
