maxx Posted April 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Does anyone know if you need to take your passport when you leave the ship & visit Ouvea? My hubby is on a US passport & our TA told us that he might have required a visa because this is part of Loyalty Islands however when she checked it was not needed. mummsie Posted April 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2006 no we didn't need ours when visiting. You have your ship key card so that's all you need. There is nothing at Ouvea - just beautiful white sand. There is not really any town or anything - its just a few huts and a dozen or so cars and a volleyball net on the beach - Mummsie
maxx Posted April 21, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Thanks for the info. Sounds like a nice place to chill out. Is there any snorkelling there?
mummsie Posted April 21, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2006 We saw some people snorkelling but they said there wasn't much in the way of fish to look at. its just a nice simple place to spend a few hours chilling out. Mummsie
