All I can tell you is to MAKE SURE you go to Ephesus and either hire a private tour guide or go on the ships excursion.....there is so much to learn/see, you will need someone to point out items during the extensive tour.....This was one of the best places I have ever been...so much history. Up until I took the cruise, I'd never even heard of the place.

 

Make sure to take a water bottle & a hat........it got really hot.

We used Yasar@newfaces.com in 2001 for Ephesus but he also does Istanbul, In Istanbul we used Levant Smoletz(?). Had booked Levant first or would have used Yasar for both. Enjoy the trip.
