Soda

Just wondering how picky Carnival is being lately. Has anyone taken any soda on board with them lately? We are leaving from the New York port if that makes any difference.

We went on the Legend out of Ft. Lauderdale on March 25. I had no problem carrying on 3 12-paks of soda and a case of waters. The cabin stewardess emptied the mini-bar items out of the fridge so that we could keep the sodas cold. She could not bake the mini-bar items out of the room, so she put them in one of the drawers for the duration of the cruise.

Documents now state a small quantity of non-alcohol beverages and wine may be carried on. We carried on a 12 pack each of soda...and it was fine.

I also took a 12-pck of Diet Pepsi on board and no one said a word. :p

We (family of 3) carried one 12 pack of soda and one 12 pack of water onto the Fantasy at Port Canaveral last week. We didn't even finish the soda because the lemonade and fruit punch were good, and we got the soda card for our teen.
