promenade deck 7 or 8 Freedom of the seas

or outside cabin deck 2, I'm trying to decide which cabin on what deck, this is my 2nd cruise and my first with RCCL

A promenade cabin on deck 8 would be a better choice than one on deck 7 but either would be wonderful.

I don't have any personal experience, but for our first RCCL cruise we opted for adjoining Promenades on Deck 7.

 

We like knowing that both above and below us will be staterooms, not public spaces where noise could be a problem. The deck 7 location will still give us a chance to view the parade yet give us a little more distance from the 'noise' factor.
