Quieter spots to sunbathe on Legend?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has found any secret or lesser known spots to sunbathe on Legend of the Seas. Last year on Ocean village we used to find sunbeds easily on the rear decks away from the busy pool areas.

Many thanks,

Heather.:)

Hi Heather, Carol Here...just popped online to check what's happening. There is a place we found..just to the rear of the spa area on Legend.....which is very special and secluded. We never got to sit there much..other than a couple of times in early evening...as we found it just a bit too late. All the regulars..hit the decks early to claim their spot...it was generally full. But every cruise if different..so give it a shot.

To find it.... You either come down the stairs...on the outside deck..by the rock climbing wall. It is is a brilliant little deck area..just below the climbing wall. It has the best deckchairs on the ship...and great views. From inside the ship...walk through the solarium and past the pool and bar area....into where the hairdresser and reception for spa treatments is located. There is seating there.... and doors at the rear, that lead to the deck. It is just outside.

Well it is June now..time is flying by. Really nice to finally see the sun again....after so many weeks. It makes you feel like summer. Hope all the family are well.Take care, Regards, Carol

Wander the upper decks on your 1st day to see where the lounge chairs are! There are plenty of less crowded spaces--everyone seems to need to be a foot from the pool! If you're not concerned with that, you won't have a problem!

Just thought of another nice spot Heather...outside the dining room...on deck 4. If you wander to the far ends..there are some really nice spots where we sat. They are sort of secluded by bits of the bulkhead..and not out in the open..but stilll in the sun. Our time on deck was restricted a bit because of the winds..but I loved sitting there. always found a space. Carol
