Is there any point in bringing insulated mugs?

Recommended Posts

When we go to an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, it's nice to have insulated mugs to put your drinks in by the pool, saves money too because you don't have to refill quite so often, thus tipping the server. Is it acceptable, or advisable, to bring these along for poolside? Would we be able to fill up with tea or lemonade, or ice water somewhere?

I always bring one for by the pool or out on tours. You can even mix your own "drinks" in your cabin if you choose. Many bring an insulated coffee mug too, but I don't drink that much coffee. If you like bottle water, start off with a few bought on shore then refill them fron the tap. Ship's water is very pure.

Bon Voyage

Absolutely. In fact we wore ours out - need to get a new one. I love to have lunch and then fill it up with lemonade and ice for by the pool. I mean we drink enough frozen drinks as well - but sometimes (if a little hungover) the lemonade is a lifesaver!!
