Marriot Beach Place Towers

Has anyone ever used this hotel for a precruise stay? Any location information would be appreciated.

I have not stayed there but know exactly where it is. It is over a shopping area with live music going on in the open area, btw I love hanging out at Beach Place when Im in FLL but I would pass on the Marriott Beach Place because of the location. Also it is across the street from the beach, and it is really a time share property. On my recent visit to FLL I found Lago Mar to be cheaper and a lot nicer. There are a lot of other properties in the area too. Lago Mar is right across the bridge from the port and Beach Place is about 5 -10 minutes. You might love it but for me personally I would pass unless I just could not find anything else that suited my needs.
