sas80 Posted July 5, 2006 #28 Share Posted July 5, 2006 Who deliveres room service - do they get tipped? Employees of RCCL deliver room service. Tipping, while reccomended, is not mandatory. We always choose to tip when we order room service. $2 to $5 depending on how large the order is.

Tipping is 100% discretionary in all cases.. (Dont go beatin' up on me! We always tip well)
BearySweet2Cruise Posted July 6, 2006 #30 Share Posted July 6, 2006 No, you dont have to tip, ever. True Tipping is 100% discretionary in all cases.. True but should be done regardless (Dont go beatin' up on me! We always tip well) No flames from me! You make a good point :) yes I understand that tipping is not a requirement, but I posted "yes of course" because it is the only right thing to do... would be just rude to NOT tip...someone has to prepare it, someone has to bring it, and the food is not being charged extra for..so tipping inmy mind is just expected everytime... who would not tip? OK.. I won't go there because there are people who still do not tip and I think that is very rude and disrespectful to the hard working staff who only get $50.00 a MONTH in salary. No tips is just wrong, even though is is NOT required
