Coral: How Is It? Best Mini Suites?

Thinking about the CORAL PRINCESS in October. How is the ship and what are the best Mini Suites??? Any favorite spots? Alternative dining? Personal Choice or Assigned Dining??? Thanks!!!

Hello fellow Somervillian! Did I spell that right?

The Coral is awesome! A beautiful ship - minis are great.

Favorite Things:

Dine at Sabatini - wonderful.

Dinner at the Bayou Cafe

Drinks at the Wheelhouse Bar

Champagne waterfall on the atrium on the second formal night.

If you have a balcony -order room service one morning and enjoy it.

Sailaway from at least one port from the balcony as well.

Try the fettucini alfredo in the dining room -also the pina colada soup, the creme brulee, the souffles and the escargot...oh I could go on and on.

Relax and enjoy...have a great cruise.

I have pictures...follow the link below.

Ask if you have any specific questions.

Hi Ross,

Yes still here in "The Ville" :D

We been on the Coral twice and have stayed in a mini as well - they're great!

My link is in my signature so I'm guessing you have that featured turned off.

Here's the direct link to our webpage, from there scroll down to the photo link.

THANKS SO MUCH for posting your fantastic web page. I tend to keep my signature shut off...but I will let you have a look...since you seem to be devoted cruise addicts...LOL.

Where abouts in Somerville are you??? I am on Curtis St. at Tufts...

Thanks Ross,

I'm glad you enjoyed our site.

You certainly have some fascinating cruises and ships listed. You will love the Coral Princess I'm sure.

We are between Spring Hill and Winter Hill just off Central Street.

Small world. ;)

but I just wanted to add that the Coral is my favorite ship! It is just the right size for cruising - large enough to have all the amenities and small enough to be comfortable.

I agree with c'diva on the list (some of which are true for all Princess ships), but would add that the cold cream soups are pretty much all good, with the exception of something pumpkin that is yucky. The great thing about cruise dining is that you've already paid in the fare, and you can try the weird stuff and if you don't like it - just order something else. The fish dishes are also good, as well as just about everything. And don't miss the production shows, they are usually better than average.

I could go on & on but gotta go start dinner.

CGTNormandie: Our first Princess cruise was on the Coral this past January......since then we have booked 6 future cruises on Princess...need I say more:) .......The Coral was wonderful! We had mini D315 and it was convenient to stairs, elevator, Horizon Court and so on. We would certainly book it again.
