Inspiration Review

Took my second cruise (DW's first) on the Inspiration last year. We also sent our son and DIL on the ship for their honeymoon. Overall, had a great time. Service was excellent, food very good in the dining room, but not as good in the Brasserie.

A few things to be aware of.

  • About 15 minutes prior to the evening show they have a bingo game in the lounge, and start selling cards about 1/2 hour before the game. Also, a large percentage of the balcony seats are obstructed. So to get a good seat for the show you need to get there 30 to 45 minutes ahead of time.
  • Lots of chair hogs on the ship. They show up early, put a blanket and/or book on their chairs and leave for a couple of hours. Sometimes that makes it difficult to get a chair by the pool.

These are just a couple of minor issues. As I said before we had a great time and sent our son and DIL in March.
