Marriott Suggestion in Tampa

I am cruisin on Aug. 20 and will fly in on the 19th. I currently have reservations at the Marriott Courtyard on Cass St which is I think about 1 mile from the Pier. I am wondering if a better choice would be the Marriott next to the cuiseline terminal? We would like to be able to find somewhere to shop for pre cruise items. Is there a trolley that runs close to either Marriotts and if so where do they go and what hours do they run?:confused:

Don't know about the trolleys, but the Courtyard has a shuttle, that will take you anyplace within 5 miles. This includes Ybor City.

The trolley is great ! I will look around to see if I have a map of all the stops. I know it stopped across the street from the Marriott Waterside where I was staying.

It was a nice hotel. I used my Marriott points and the points were cheaper there as well. I reviewed the hotel in the l-o-n-g Tampa thread on there. Search the Marriott CY downtown for it.

Marriott Waterside is a great hotel.. shops within walking or short cab ride. I have stayed there frequently.
