Ft. Lauderdale Airport to Pier

Does Cunard offer shuttle service from Ft. Lauderdale Airport to the pier and back again for their cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale? Anyone with past Cunard Florida experience, I await your advise. I know we can get a cab for $10.00 which might be quicker and cheaper, but I thought I'd ask.

We've sailed out of Ft Lauderdale on 3 other lines and getting a cab has always been cheaper and faster that taking the sip transfers esp. since the airport is so close to the pier.

 

My latest experience was 3-2006 on Princess to LAX. We waited for over an hour at eh airport for other flights to get in before we could head for the pier. After the cruise I thought things would be quicker but we sat on the bus for over a half hour waiting for others to disembark and fill the bus before we could leave for the airport.

 

We are done taking ship transfers.

I agree with the other reply... the airport is only about 10 minutes from the pier, and it is worth the taxi fare (which is reasonable) both in time expended and in service received .... i.e. help with luggage and uncrowded seating. We took a taxi.

I prefer cabs. I use a porter to take the luggage and he takes you out to the cabs. You can be at the airport while the bus is probably still loading.
