Chade5772 Posted July 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2004 I am looking at a Jr. Suite on the Veendam. My question is what are the differences in the perks for the Jr. Suite verses a suite. This is our first time on HAL. Next question is: Are the differences in perks worth the price if one can afford it?
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2004 :) Junior Suite? We have cruised HAL for years and have never heard of junior suite. You must mean a mini suite. We book full suites. If you are talking about a mini suite, you won't have access to the Neptune Lounge or the concierge service. If tendering ports are on your schedule, you won't get priority tender tickets. You won't get free washing or dry cleaning. You won't be invited to a special suite cocktail party or suite buffet. Hope this helps. :)
sail7seas Posted July 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Verandah Suites (or so-called Mini-Suites) include soft cotton bathrobes, extra luxurious towels, access to no-host mini bar, vcr and access to a well-stocked video library and personalized stationery. They are nice cabins for two persons. More than that and I would find it cramped.
