Tipping for Room Service?

What's the general policy on room service? Do you tip them when they bring it throughout the cruise? If so, how much?

Tip whomever brings your order. A couple of dollars for a small order, more if it's a large one.

I love having coffee delivered in the morning. My cruise 'tradition' is getting brand new, crisp $5 bills for room service.

I think a $5 is a bit much for just coffee! For one small tray, coffee and danish, I'd tip $2 or $3. For a full breakfast with large carafes of coffee and tea, (really large tray) I might do $4 or $5 at that point.

I think $5 is perfect for coffee in the morning. It's certainly worth that much to me not having to get dressed;), and head up to the windjammer or down to the dining room. If I'm getting more, I will tip $10.
