Tea for Two??

Recommended Posts

I am a brewed Iced Tea Freak, I can sit and drink iced tea with the best of them, until the last dog goes home. Problem is I have yet to be served good tasting iced tea on a cruise ship. I believe it all comes prepackaged, which means its not brewed on board.

When visiting ports of call I dare not order Iced Tea due to the water or ice. I don't know if the establishmemnt we are dinning at brought the water temp high enough to kil all bacteria. All this means I have to go for a week without a good hit of BREWED ICED TEA.

Has anyone over come this one and only negative while cruising?

:) Im an iced tea drinker too I agree the ice tea served aboard ship is definitely lacking. My wife and I always bring our travel mugs with us. You could bring a large travel mug with you and brew tea in it let it sit an hour or two and than fill it with ice. VOILA

What I have done in the past is to order a hot tea. They will bring you the box of tea bags to choose from - lots of choices. Then I brew it myself. I also ask for a big glass of ice only. Thus I have my own iced tea at dinner.

At breakfast and lunch in the Lido you can do this on your own.
