This is a really good blog overall, lots of great tips for insiders but, this entry tells you of the advantages of booking your next cruise while taking your current cruise. Good read for both newbies and experienced cruisers who haven't taken advantage of it! http://holidaycruise12232007.blogspot.com/2006/08/booking-your-next-cruise-while-onboard.html

(on board credit) when you book. You can also ask the rep questions that the TA might not have right at hand. I just like being able to do a face-to-face with a Princess Rep and then hand the cruise back to your TA at home for her to iron out the details.

You don't have to designate a ship and time when you do your onboard booking. I like that alot. DH and I did this on our honeymoon curise in 05 and we weren't sure when we will cruise again. We are in April and you bet I will book another onboard for some time. We know we are crusising back to Alaska for our 5 year Anniversary in 2010. You can't lose with onboard bookings.
