Corfu - Sunday

We have been advised today that we will be swapping our stops of Dubrovnik & Corfu around in our schedule - this means that we will now be visting Corfu on a Sunday.

 

Will the shops in Corfu Town be open on a Sunday in September ? or would we be better booking an excurtion ?

We visited Corfu last fall and I would highly recommend an excursion. We just walked around the town on our own and we didn't think there was much to do. We went into a couple of shops.

 

I think a tour would provide a better opportunity to see Corfu.

 

On a related note, Dubrovnik was one of the major suprises of our trip. We really enjoyed this area. We went to the walled city and enjoyed that a great deal.
