booking excursions

When can we book excursions? Is it after we have paid in full? If we pay before the actual final payment date, can we book then or do we have to wait so many days out? Thanks

I do not know when you are going but if you are going in the next few months then yes you can. I think you can book excursions at least 4-5 months out.

We booked in February for a cruise next month, so at least six months ahead of time, and were able to book shore excursions shortly thereafter. However, we have had several itinerary changes and have ended up changing every tour we had booked several times. Luckily, the itinerary ended up better than it was a few months ago so I am happy.

:p

I did notice that my charge card was charged immediately for the excursions that I booked. Seemed like the credits were taken care of almost just as quickly.

Good luck finding and choosing your shore excursions. I always enjoy looking at the variety of them and trying to choose the ones I will like the best.

Hi,:) it really does depend on your particular sailing and how the

site is running as well.

I know that might not make much sense but they just re-did the

entire Excursion site. I am sailing in December and just booked

2 of my excursions a couple of weeks ago.

When I sailed back in October of 2005 I kept trying to book my

excursions and they did not make them available until 60 days

prior to my cruise:eek:

You might start trying now but since your cruise is still 6 months

you might not be able to book them yet.

Enjoy your cruise:)

It's my understanding you can book excursions when your cruise is paid in full, and 4 months or less before you cruise.

Maybe that's how it works on some ships but we have booked three excursions through Celebrity on the Connie and have just a deposit down on the cruise - have not paid in full yet and won't be sailing till March.

Had no problem booking, but did have to pay up front for excursions.

I booked what we thought might be the popular excursions and will wait to do the others, or just skip an excursion and beach it.:)
