Aruba - Pier

It has been awhile since we have been to the Caribbean (have been spending a lot of time cruising from the west coast) and can't remember the pier area very well.

 

How many ships can dock at the pier?

 

We are going to be there when there are 3 ships in port.

No need to worry about tendering. You will dock.

 

Last year when I was there, there were 4 ships in port.

 

The 2 larger ships docked at the regular pier. Of course Hal had to dock down just a little further. :mad: It was a long walk for many.

We are due to arrive there at 7AM and leave at 6 PM. The Carnival Destiny is there from 8 AM - 11 PM and the Zenith will be there from 11 AM - midnight.

 

Sounds as though we will have that long walk as well.

I remember one time a couple of years ago we were lucky to be right at the main gate, RCI was docked further down and the Mistrel (long gone) was at the "angle" pier.

Ahh, The week we are sailing on Destiny we are the only ship in aurba from 8am til 10pm. should be nice.

We were there last year and were the only ship in port, it is so nice to be able to walk around town without all the hourds of tourists.
