hammybee Posted September 17, 2006 #276 Share Posted September 17, 2006 The OPTIONAL PG costs $X. The reason it costs $X is that HAL has there is sufficient demand for the product and the market will bear the cost. That some of us cannot afford it or prefer to not pay it ,is not HAL's problem. They will continue to feed us in the DR and Lido. While I might prefer Beluga cavier for dinner each evening (not), I am not entitled to it unless I am willing to pay for it, regardless if I can afford it or not. We have a choice. HeatherInFlorida Posted September 17, 2006 #277 Share Posted September 17, 2006 One man's "generous" is another man's "not". We had dinner last night in a local eatery where I believe my portion serves 3. I generally eat about a third of it, bring it home and it's enough for 2 another night. However, a gentleman at the table next to us ordered the exact dish and had finished the entire platter before I was finished with my third. The Pinnacle is coveted not for the quantity of the portion, but rather for the quality of the dish.
