watchmelose Posted September 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2006 I am looking at what excursions to do on my Radiance cruise. I'm a first time cruiser. We'll the excursion I looked in the calendar view where you can see exact times of trips. What I want to do in Jamaica (drunk boat) returns to the ship at 4:15, but the calendar says we leave port at 4:00 How can they offer this trip? I also see that one other excursion returns at 4:30? Should I book it and not worry?
kyriecat Posted September 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2006 We ran into that a couple of weeks ago on the Radiance Alaska cruise. The ship was scheduled to sail at 7 pm but our excursion wasn't scheduled to end until 7:15. The ship waited for us to board then sailed immediately. CaptData Posted September 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2006 If this is a SHIP excursion you will be fine but if it is a private excursion then you better make plans to catch up with the ship as it will be gone when you get back. The ship will wait as long as possible for their excursion but will leave you behind if you are on a private excursion.
KAJOKG Posted September 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2006 Agree..if you take a ship sponsored excursion, the ship has to wait for all those to return. Private excursions don't have the same privilege. Check the time you are looking at. Maybe it says to return to the ship by 4, not that the ship leaves at 4.
