dmarch@islc.net Posted October 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2006 Since ships are ladies how would you describe their different personalities, character, style, etc. I see Mille as sort of a "trophy" lady. Drop dead gorgeous, and well laid out, but once you get past that....nothing. Century, she's a long term hold. She looks good and can't complain about her service. I love her a lot but something is missing that I just can't put my finger on. Zenith, she first looked a little homely at the pier in Miami next to all those other ladies, but when I got her off by herself I found her looks rather..intriguing. She's the kind of lady you have to get to know. Beautiful, friendly and deep, this is the kind of lady you bring home to Mom. What's your take? The Mercury is more of a "Handsome Woman," (think Lauren Bacall) not what you'd call striking, but the beauty is long term, and will only improve with age. Neat idea for a thread, Dave
Sky Sweet Posted October 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2006 I think Century was a beautiful woman whose obsession with youth drove her to have a face lift, which compromised her true beauty, instead of continuing to age gracefully.
Karynanne Posted October 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2006 I see Constellation as a "Catherine Deneuve"...very elegant, sophisticated, and aging with aplomb. Karyn
