Laundry Service on Crown

It's getting close to packing time:D I'm curious as to what the laundry service on the Crown is like. Basically I was thinking of sending out my shirts and pants as I'll be on a 14 day cruise. What are the costs? Turn around time? ect. ect..... Anyone know?

We were on the Crown in Sept. and laundry & dry cleaning service was fantastic. If you have it in by 9 am, it's back by 5 p.m. and they do a great job. Even ironed my nightgowns.

The laundry service is very good. If handed over before 09.00 the standard service returns to you next day around 17.00. Or, you can pay 50% extra for a sameday return by 17.00. We were in a suite so the laundry was a free perk but I do remember looking at their tariff and thinking that it was very reasonable anyway.

The Crown doesn't have washing machines?

If so, you could wash your clothes yourself then iron them. Just bring washable items if possible.

Personally I'd rather spend the $3 or $4 to have something sent out than doing laundry on my vacation.

Exactly.. Washing & Ironing aren't conducive with holidays..!!

Yes they do have laundry rooms. We were right down the hall from one on the Dolphin Deck.

I knew they had machines, and perhaps the wife will run a load of "dainties", but I didn't want to put her thru running loads while on vacation. If I drop a few hundred in the casino, I don't want to lean on her to save a few bucks by doing laundry:) I'd never hear the end of it...lol
