Rough seas in May in Italy/Greece

We cruised in the Mediterranean in late April one year and had difficulty getting into a couple of the ports in Italy and had to go to alternative cities. Also, all excursions to Capri were canceled due to rough water that year. :(

The following year, we went in May and had no problems at all. If you go int June, however, you may start running into some thunderstorms which sometimes cause rough water. So, I think May is good! ;)

Hello, Everyone!

We were on the Brilliance Mediterranean cruise in May this year. It was wonderful! We never cruised the Mediteranean before, so we wondered if it was so smooth because of the ship,or the calm water and the beautiful weather. Since we cruised on the Brilliance before...to Scandanavia and Russia, I have a feeling the smooth sailing was due to the Med. Sea and the gorgeous weather! May had perfect weather. :p

My friend did an Italy/Greece tour in the middle of June and said it was 100 degrees!

June
