How far is Margaritaville from Montego port?

We have a tour booked and then we wanted to check out Margaritaville.

We dont want to cut the time too close.

Is there one being opened close to the port in Montego? or am I mistaken

We are sailing in a couple of weeks.

Margaritaville is about a 15 minute cab ride from the pier. It is located on the Hip Strip. Also, be careful of the water slide at Margaritaville. I went there last April and slammed the side of my head going down and suffered a massive concussion (and no i wasn't even drinking that day :-) The slide is super dangerous and would never be allowed in the US. Hope you have fun on your trip!

You can't walk but it's not too far away. Often if you are on a private tour, they will drop you off as they will pass right by it. You would just have to get a taxi back to the ship or they will arrange to come back and pick you up at a specified time.
