I didn't realise they would do this and always assumed the ship would leave without you if you weren't back on board at the specified time.

 

I think a lot depends on who you are. If you're seen as someone who is "important" then the ship will wait; if you're just Mr & Mrs Bloggs from the masses the ship won't. I also think it depends on how much of a problem it wold cause for Cunard if you were left!

They finally found us another room last Tuesday, so we have slept for the past four nights. :)

 

So they COULD find you a new cabin. The question is why did it take them so long?
