willbrook Posted November 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Arriving on the 'Sun Princess' on Sunday, Feb 3rd, our small group is looking for a 'water based' excursion. I've found 'bits & pieces' of info regarding a 'Calypso Party Boat' - 3 hour excursion to a nearby beach. Can anyone on CC provide more information on this excursion? I'm finding it somewhat difficult to research independent tour operators in Martinique....Thanks Much I

willbrook Posted November 5, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted November 5, 2006 Yep, according to my 2007 Calendar, February 4th is on a Sunday. From the looks of things, the 'Calypso Cruise' isn't afloat any longer. Back to square one!:(
GloriaF Posted November 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2006 We are on the Sun Princess 12/6/06 (Wednesday) and haven't made any plans:eek: ! The good part is that we are the only ship in port according to cruisecal. The bad part is that I've heard that Martinique isn't particularly tourist-friendly. We are in port from 7am to 3 pm, and it will be our 4th port in 4 days with the first 3 being active excursions. We may just sleep late, have a leisurely breakfast, then walk around ~ but if there is something that should not be missed in Martinique, please, somebody tell me about it!! :) :)
