Good ol' question still goes on...drink prices?

so what do the souvenir cups look like? are they glass or plastic? i'm not a big souvenir person, but if i'm going to get a drink anyway, i could take the souvenir cup to one of my kids...

Plastic :( Many just pick up one left behind at sailaway before people realize they are paying extra for them. The old glass ones were nice. They were different for each ship and worth paying for:)

The cups are plastic but decent looking so on the last night my wife and I decided to go ahead and get a couple. I gave one to my daughter and she loved it :D

I love the 2 for 1 idea in the Casino. How do you know when they will be offering 2 for 1? On the Sun, my husband and I went almost every evening and were never offered drink specials.

The good 'ol freestyle daily tells you when the 2 for 1 casino specials are. On the Dawn they usually ran from 12am-2am and apparently it is for table and slots players only.

I usually call NCL, ask for the Ship Cordinator, (talk the them only) and they will put a bottle in your stateroom, $40.00 each, almost all call brands. Saves the tips and the hassle of trying to sneak it in...:D

You can purchase a soothie booklet for 20 smoothies for I believe its 40.00. If I'm wrong I hope someone will correct me, hint hint shoreguy, Cathi

Also, tropical smoothies are great, with and w/o alcohol ( well, the second no discussion is better ;)
