Carnival is paying?? That is odd... the gangway is the responsibility of the port... Why wouldn't the port authority be footing the bill??? :confused:

That was info from the person who was cruising with Shirley. They were with a group out of Port Orange, her cruising companion went ahead with the cruise. There was another incident on board where a pax broke her neck, but I wasn't listening closely to where it happened, I think it was on one of the stair cases towards the back of the ship. My in-laws were with this group and told us the details tonight when they called with their cruise review tonight.

It happens... it's Sunday which means tomorrow is Monday, always makes me a little crankier!!!!! :D

 

Now... did you know one of the injured people?? I really hope the woman is going to be okay... very sad :(
