Carnival pre-cruise hotels in Vancouver

I posted this incorrectly on the Carnival thread - Sorry.

 

My husband and I will be on the 9/07 Spirit - Vancouver to Honolulu. We will be flying into Vancouver a day before the cruise and leaving Honolulu the day after debarking. We have been in both cities before.

 

We are requesting information re: hotels used by Carnival for pre-cruise in Vancouver. Info requested is:price, convenience, baggage handling, etc. Any info would be appreciated.

 

Also, would we be better off booking on our own? This would involve taxi/shuttle from airport to hotel, then to port the next day. Can anyone help with approximate costs and suggestions.

I don't know why you (or someone) would think that that was the wrong place. I have no idea what hotels Carnival would use. Ask again just for the names and then maybe we could help here. We have so many/locatons/prices etc etc....
