Superbowl Sunday....Are We Crazy?

We are on a cruise that ends in Fort Lauderdale on SuperBowl Sunday. Can we make a 12:15 flight out of Miami if we hire a private driver to take us to the airport? There are 6 of us so we'd hire a driver with a van. Thanks

Whether you got the disembarkment tags or not wouldn't matter, would it, as you will be with your bags and not looking for them. Those tags are only to identify the area of the terminal where your bags can be found, so I would doubt you would get any, but either way it doesn't matter. They are only a strip of colored paper.

a suggestion: speak with the GRM toward the end of the cruise and see if you and everyone else in your party can get an early debarkation #

with an early number (coupled with carrying your bags off) + a car with a driver, you should be ok provided the lines at the airport are bearable

the rest is "pure luck" depending on where you're heading .. if your flight is on time and the weather holds, you've got roughly 6 hours from the time of your flight until kick-off

good luck:)
