4 day Sensation to Bahamas- anyone???

Has anyone been on the 4 day Sensation cruise to the Bahamas? Can anyone share their Capers? Does anyone have a review? How are the refurbishment? What night was formal night?

 

I am getting married on the Sensation and have cruised in the past, so I expect great things, but looking for feedback on this Sensation 4 day.

The 4 day is great and the formal night on our cruise was the 3rd night.

I was just on the Sensation and have posted the capers. This was our first Carnival cruise and we had a great time.

 

The Sensation is an older ship but is in great shape. There are still a few remants of older loud decorating, (some purple hallways, touch of class lounge - it is not classy and should have been refurbished) but our cat 12 suite was just beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Formal night was Monday night.

 

I'd be happy to answer any other questions you have.

We were on her in Oct. & had a cat 11 room. Not that crazy about the decor but loved the Polo Lounge! My parents let me decorate my room at 14,(what were they thinking), I picked purple wallpaper & bedding, so If I was 14 I would have been happy with the ships decor!

 

We have also sailed on the Conquest & I must say we did not feel that we missed a thing on a smaller ship, we loved the Sensation!!!

hehe, I was also allowed to decorated my own room at age 13. I picked purple walls and a black ceiling. Thank goodness our tastes have changed. : )

Was on the Sensation in October, Glory in December. Booked again on Sensation in January, Glory again in March. Will take the Sensation over Glory any day.

I did the sensation in October and loved it so much I go on her again on Jan 25th 2007...the Karaoke is the best on the sensation :)

We did the Sensation 4 day in September and will be doing the 4 day again the last week of January. (less than 30 days!!!)

 

We had a great time on board and with our 24 hours in Nassau.

In September it was on the 2nd night. We were in Nassau overnight the 3rd night. We had a great time. Sorry, I don't have the capers. I would recommend planning an excursion or something in Freeport. We were on the Sensation Dec. 3rd and had a blast. Cat 12 U75, very clean, friendly staff. Formal night was on Monday, 2nd night. Have fun.

If you like to gamble, the casino staff was great. We thought the best dining room menus were on the 2nd and 3rd nights (I'm not sure if the menus have changed). Make sure to try the Grand Mariner Soufflé! We had a great time at the deck party with Mexican food (the 3rd night I think). My husband said the food was really good.
