VentureMan_2000 Posted January 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2007 Can someone tell me the square footage of a Carnival standard ocean view or Balcony room...? And do any of you know what this is for Royal Caribbean...? A friend and I are discussing the differences, and I thought I remembered that Carnival is 185 sq feet, and RC is 160 sq feet. Can anyone confirm...?
runner15km Posted January 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2007 I believe CCL has two size configuration's. 185 and 220sq ft for ov/balcony. I have a ov on RCI and the cabin is 147 sq ft.

MrPete Posted January 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2007 Yes, standard Carnival is 185, and it depends what ship for the classes and sizes on RCCL. We found we had to go to a D1 Superior stateroom on the Explorer to get the same square footage. We were disappointed that the room was longer and narrower, so it didn't feel as big. It said 185 SQFT, but we didn't measure.
