Caneel Bay on STJ?

Hi all ...

 

Was wondering if anyone has stayed at Caneel Bay on St. John the day before a cruise? DH and I are flying to STT a day early and can't board until the next day at 3 p.m.

 

It has been many years since we stayed on STT (something like 20 plus) and when we have stayed in STJ we usually rent a villa.

 

Does Caneel have air-conditioned rooms? Are we going to be unhappy in a court-side room?

 

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

What ship are you sailing on that has it's port of embarkation as St. Thomas? I know the cruise ships stop there, but I never heard of that as a port of embarkation. Are you meeting the cruise half way through? If so, I didn't know you could do that.

We are sailing on Sea Dream II out of St. Thomas. The cruise begins and ends in St. Thomas.
