Looking to share shuttle to Civitavecchia 10/05/07

Hi,

My sister and I will be sailing on the Westerdam on 10/05/07. We are staying the night before in Rome. After reading the posts about the train ... I was wondering if anyone out there would like to share a shuttle to the pier on the 5th.

You might have better luck posting this on the Roll Call boards. If someone else has not already started a roll call for this sail, you can do it.

 

If you have no luck in finding a share and don't want to pop for a private service, consider staying at the airport Hilton. You can hop the train to Rome and be there in 30 minutes without incuring the cost of a taxi or private car service. And on sail day, depart from the airport. This too can be done by train but most folk don't bother because they have too much stuff to haul. But for those that can handle it, you can save a lot of $ and have yourself a little adventure.

 

Once in Civitavecchia, you can get a cab to the port or even walk it.
