Transportation from Tampa airport to ship

Help! I can't find any info on the cost of a taxi ride from the airport to the ship in Tampa & back. Is it far away? I am not a big fan of cruise line transfers. Any advice would be appreciated.

The port isn't far at all from the airport - I wouldn't think it would cost you more than maybe 15 bucks. It cost me $20 to my house from the airport and that's further so I think I'm safe here.

About $15 should do it by Taxi. Do an online search for Bay Shuttle, they may offer a lower rate for van pooling.

I took a cab last year. If memory serves me it was a little under $20, and a little above $20 with a tip. We had four people in our party, so it was a lot less expensive than the cruiseline's transfers.

Does anyone know if there is MEARS Transportation in Tampa, I thought I
remembered seeing something about them on these boards, I am looking to get one of our party from the airport to the ship. Any help is appreciated
