Raft Float Trip in Denali

There are a number of float trips, so I'm not sure which one exactly you're referring to. However, in general, these trips are more for the rafting experience than seeing animals. There's always a chance you'll see more than birds, a moose or bear, for example, but I wouldn't count on it.

What about the scenery on these milder raft trips at Denali? We are thinking of it for our June trip after we go on the TWT in the a.m.

Here's a reply from Denali Raft Adventures, Inc. to some questions I e-mailed them.

"We offer the McKinley Run at 6:30 pm and provide pick up and drop off at the Denali Wilderness Princess Lodge at 6:20 pm."

Wife and I think the scenery is ok but your chances of seeing wildlife are pretty limited. Keep in mind that the water of the Nenana is very cold too.

The white water trip is a "hang on" adventure through the Nenana Canyon.
