Butch2099 Posted February 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2007 I'm not a breakfast eater. I eat mainly everything else but breakfast. On Carnival I have their 24 Hr pizza to fall back on but this is our 1st time on NCL. Does NCL offer anything like that? I'm guessing I can get some other things from room service but is there anyplace on the Spirit that offers pizza/burgers/sandwiches at early hours of the day? Thx for any help.. aceparty Posted February 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2007 Blue Lagoon deck 7 mid.. The Blue Lagoon has hotdogs, hamburgers, french fries, wings, fried rice, along with other stuff 24hours a day.
johnql Posted February 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2007 The only way to get pizza at odd hours is thru room service. The Blue Lagoon doesn't service pizza, but they do serve other diner-type items (burgers, hot dogs, wings, french fries, potato skins, chili, fried rice, soup, fish & chips, cookies, coffee, etc.). Jabee Posted February 23, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 23, 2007 Similar on the Sun? I love my 24-hour Pizza on the Carnival ships, and sure hop that NCL has opportunities to grab a bite at 2:00am also...(we all need thos midnight snacks.) Also...will there be a Midnight Buffet of any sort. Again, I doubt there will be the fancy ice sculptures, etc that Carnival has, but a nice snack before Midnight can help. aceparty Posted February 23, 2007 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2007 You can eat 24/7 on NCL. There also is Ice carving, and how to carve ice. The blue is open 24hrs a day, and room service is also going.
Butch2099 Posted February 23, 2007 Author #8 Share Posted February 23, 2007 I thought I read on these boards that most ships have done away with the Midnight buffet...They always were popular whenever I was on a cruise. I'm not sure why they would get rid of them..

I'm not sure why they would get rid of them.. I believe they've been mostly eliminated because it wasn't worth it to continue the tradition - too much food was being wasted. The Chocoholic Buffet usually has some pretty incredible sculptures made from chocolate, butter, sugar and ice. Not sure about the Sun, but on other NCL ships they usually serve late-night snacks in the casino - sandwiches, potstickers, skewered meats, wings, sliced fruit, cookies, etc.
