dcdee Posted March 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Our Oceania cruise will stop at Antalya. I understand that the port is several miles outside town. The cruise line tells our TA that it will provide a shuttle but only to serve passengers that take a tour through the cruise line and choose to be dropped off in town after the tour. We prefer not to use the ship's tour. If anyone has stopped here, are taxis readily available at the port? Thanks.
JeannyCT Posted March 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2007 I've been to Antalya but not to the port so I can’t give you a direct answer. Here are two links you might find of help: http://www.virtualtourist.com http://wikitravel.org. I would take the Dolmus, it’s a great way to get around: http://wikitravel.org. By the way, some websites are out of date concerning prices, the New Turkish Lira was introduced in 2005 (http://en.wikipedia.org).

maryann ns Posted May 15, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2010 It is quite a long drive (at least half an hour?) into the city. We took a private tour, but our ship did offer a shuttle. Check yourself what Oceana offers. I would be surprised if they do not have a shuttle. I am sure there would be taxis, however.
