US Postal "Flat Rate" same in HI?

Aloha HI locals,

Is the USPS "flat rate box" ($8.10) available in Hawaii? If so I can ship my grandchildren gifts and not worry about packing them home first. :D

Definitely a commonly asked question here...... yes it's the same flat rate box....

If you plan to use stamps for postage read the instructions on the flat rate box. You must go to the post office and wait in line to have a clerk accept and process the package. If you don't then the package if found during the delivery process will be intercepted and may be sent by surface mail which will take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery from Hawaii.

I just ordered a pack of 10, which is free, delivered to my office. I plan to take a few folded flat in the bottom of my suitcase along with some bubble wrap to put the things I plan to buy in Honolulu (Japanese cooking ingredients) to mail back to myself.
