Miami Rental Car for Day

Hi! Have any of you rented a car for just one day in Miami? We are stopping in port for one day of our NCL trip. Our family is hoping to do an Everglades tour as well as possibly visiting South Beach and some other areas. Having our own car would be very convenient, but for anyone who has done this, where did you rent the car from, how did you get to the rental agency and back to the pier, was it hard to navigate around Miami? Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On disembarkation day there were free shuttle buses from the various rental agencies at the port. I don't know if they are there on port days. Try checking directly with the agency you want to rent from; they should be able to help you.

we used Alamo as they had pier and airport shuttle service worked out great.
