Darn, I booked another Carnival ship Sept 7 - 15 2008 and got a friend to join us so I cant back out.

Online info is still 'sketchy' at best now.

I decided to just call this morning and I got the info that way. Actually went ahead and booked a Splendor sailing.

Isn't there a group rate?

In order to get a group rate, we have to have a group of at least 8 cabins. Looking to see who might be interested in pursuing for a group rate on this sailing. Many are looking to do the maiden voyage and they have set up a group for that. I can't travel in July, and this itinerary really appealed to me.

My DH and I are already booked for back-to-back 8/30/08 and 9/11/08 on the Splendor. If a group does get set up we would be interested, but only if we could transfer our reservation as to not lose our cabin. We have an awesome wrap around cabin on port side. I cannot wait! It seems so far away, but at least we will be on the Freedom 9/22/07, which will help the time pass. We were a day late and a dollar short and missed the group booking for the Freedom 9/22/07, and on that cruise we don’t care if we don’t get our same cabin.
