BEST seat in floatplane & copter for pics???

I'm an avid photographer and will be taking a helicopter in Juneau and floatplane in Ketchikan. I'll be by myself so not worried about sitting with someone. What's the best seat in these to take pictures from...front or side? And how much choice do you have about choosing your seat?

THANKS:)

They fill the helicopters/planes with other passengers and assign by weight. You can ask, but will not likely be able to choose a seat. Additionally, if the plane has low wings, your view could be blocked.

Front seat next to the pilot.

We flew with Michelle from Island wings, and while the seating arrangement is largely weight based, there was some shifting around on the ride back to give others a chance to take pics from up front.

My photos were taken out the back side window - the view is beautiful no matter where you look.
